Being mentally healthy means feeling good about yourself, good about others and good about what you do. You enjoy the simple things in life, are interested in what’s going on in the world and feel optimistic about the future.
In order to keep mentally healthy it is important to keep physically active, eat a healthy well balanced diet, avoid drugs and drink alcohol in moderation
In this day and age, when there is so much that you can feel depressed about, it is more important than ever to do things to keep yourselves mentally healthy so that you can enjoy life and cope with the pressures and demands of everyday living. Good friends make the good times better and the bad times tolerable.
